We use sonar tracing to locate buried pipe work and / or to locate the damaged areas of pipe. This is so we can locate problem areas in the pipe and we can then carry out spot digs to assess and carry out remedial works as and where required.

This is sometimes more cost effective for the customer as this would obviously mean smaller sections of pipe work being replaced, rather than entire lengths. However, we must emphasise that every site will be different.
